Big Apple Donuts Promo
The big apple donuts promo picture in Malaysia right now is unusually good, and unusually short-lived, so timing matters more than usual. Big Apple opened its 100th Malaysian store at IOI Mall Puchong on October 10, 2026, and to mark it, its two pandan donuts, Ola Pandan and Dreamy Pandan, cost RM1 each at every outlet nationwide until October 31, 2026. Alongside that, an evening half-price Box of 6 deal runs at selected outlets. This guide separates the deals you can still use from the ones that already ended, so you do not walk in expecting a past price.
What is the current Big Apple Donuts promo in Malaysia?
The headline deal is the 100th store celebration. Big Apple opened its first store at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara, in 2007, and its 100th at IOI Mall Puchong on October 10, 2026. From October 10 to October 31, 2026, Ola Pandan and Dreamy Pandan cost RM1 each at all Big Apple outlets in Malaysia. Ola Pandan carries a fragrant pandan glaze topped with a creamy vanilla swirl, while Dreamy Pandan carries a sweet pandan glaze with a creamy vanilla topping and drizzle. The terms matter: each store offers 100 pieces a day while stocks last, there is no limit per customer, and the offer is for in-store purchases only. That last point is the one people miss, so do not try to order it on a delivery app and expect RM1.
| Current Promo Detail | Terms | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Ola Pandan | RM 1 | Pandan glaze with creamy vanilla swirl, until October 31, 2026 |
| Dreamy Pandan | RM 1 | Sweet pandan glaze with creamy vanilla topping and drizzle |
| Daily limit per store | 100 pieces | While stocks last, no limit per customer |
| Where it works | In store only | Not available on delivery apps |
| Standard single donut (comparison) | RM 3.20 | Most regular flavours at the normal price |
Is the Big Apple happy hour Box of 6 deal still running?
Yes, as far as the latest published listing shows. From August 26, 2026 onwards, Big Apple has offered a Box of 6 prepack donuts at 50% off from 7pm to 10pm at selected outlets, while stocks last. At the standard Box of 6 price of RM17.20, half price works out to RM8.60, which is the cheapest way to buy six donuts that I found anywhere in current listings. Two warnings, though. First, it runs at selected outlets only, so your nearest store may not run it, and an earlier July listing showed a 6pm to 10pm weekday window at one outlet, so hours can differ by store. Second, the selection is prepack, meaning you take the flavours in the box rather than picking six of your own. Check with your outlet before making a special evening trip.
| Happy Hour Detail | Terms | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Box of 6 prepack | 50% off | Works out to RM8.60 against the standard RM17.20 box |
| Hours | 7pm – 10pm | Evening window, some outlets showed 6pm starts in July |
| Outlets | Selected only | Not every store runs it, confirm before you go |
| Flavours | Prepack | Flavours are set in the box, not picked by you |
What past Big Apple promos ended recently?
Three past deals are worth naming clearly as past, because older articles still list them as if they were live. First, the Merdeka deal: from August 24 to September 16, 2026, Big Apple offered buy any 4 donuts and get 2 regular donuts free. That ended on September 16, so do not expect it at the counter now. Second, the Lotus’s Kepong opening deal: from July 1 to July 31, 2026, a box of 3 prepacked donuts plus a mineral water cost RM9.90 at that outlet, with a free keychain for the first 100 customers who bought the set. Third, a similar Lotus’s Mutiara opening bundle at RM9.90 ran from June 4 to July 4, 2026. All three are past, and none of them should be quoted as a current price. If a blog still shows them without an end date, treat that page as out of date.
| Past Promo (Labelled Past) | Dates | Deal |
|---|---|---|
| Merdeka deal | August 24 – September 16, 2026 | Buy any 4 donuts, get 2 regular donuts free |
| Lotus’s Kepong opening | July 1 – July 31, 2026 | 3 prepacked donuts plus mineral water for RM9.90, keychain for first 100 buyers |
| Lotus’s Mutiara opening | June 4 – July 4, 2026 | 3 selected donuts plus mineral water for RM9.90 |
| April happy hour (earlier version) | From April 17, 2026 | Box of 6 from RM10.50 to RM11.40 at selected outlets, superseded by the August 50% off listing |
How do you get Big Apple promo prices on delivery apps?
Short answer: you often cannot, and the RM1 pandan deal is the clearest example. The brand states plainly that the RM1 offer is for in-store purchases only and is not available on delivery apps. For the evening Box of 6 deal, the listing says selected outlets, with no delivery mention, so assume in-store too unless your outlet says otherwise. Big Apple does deliver through foodpanda in selected areas, but delivery menus and prices can differ from the in-store board, and delivery fees apply on top. If a promo matters to your order, the safest move is to call or visit the outlet first, confirm the deal runs there, and then decide whether to walk in or order online. Do not build a party order around a promo price you have not confirmed at your store.
| Channel | Promo Availability | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| In store | RM1 pandan deal works here | All outlets, until October 31, 2026, 100 pieces per store per day |
| Delivery apps | RM1 deal does not apply | Brand states in-store only, not on delivery apps |
| Selected outlets (happy hour) | Confirm with the outlet | Evening Box of 6 deal is selected outlets only |
| Standard box prices | Box of 4 RM12.80, Box of 6 RM17.20 | Use these as your fallback if no promo applies |
